about me

My Name is Taylor Mazzuchelli and I am currently attending the University of Rhode Island to graduate as a registered nurse. Currently, I am working an on-campus job at Dunkin doubts and getting clinical experience at Whittier Rehabilitation Hospital as a Student Nurse intern. It wasn’t until I started working there that I realized nursing was 100% for me. Helping patients get back to living their lives is really a magical thing and to be able to be a part of that feels like a blessing.

When I’m not working or studying, I enjoy reading, playing with my dog Belle, and hanging out with friends.

I spend a lot of my time at the university’s Nursing hall, between classes and being the Secretary of the Student Nurses Association. The SNA is something that I and my fellow officers spend a lot of time working on because it is a reestablishing club on campus. We work on fundraiser events like blood drives, we work to promote student health and safety.

MISSION

After graduation, I plan on taking my degree to an unexpected side of things. I want to not only work as a nurse but also make more mental health support groups and guides for nurses struggling with burnout. Burnout is a serious issue that has become more likely, with videos of newly graduated RNs sharing their experiences of being totally and utterly burnt out. Nurses are questioning their career choices, and this is something I am going to prevent. We can't have nurses hating their job while trying to get people to feel better and get back to their lives.
